Downloading new music…over hear!

So its been a while since i last blogged and released any new free music,i have been studying music a bit more and learning a few more musical chords.

The results this far has been good in my experiences and i have made some gems.

“Yeah how about chu” mp3 was one of my first experiments with nice mellow chords that gave a jazzy type vibe.I added reverb at the little breakdowns in the song to give a dreamy distant vibe and played with some filters on the drums to give that clubby vibe.

The song has a two step flow on the drums with the mellow chords to give it the funky smooth flavour.

Hope you enjoy the free download below

Has “real” music been forgotten?

Growing up with parents who loved music was an amazing experience, born in 1983 I had the privilege of encountering the mighty L.P player and the countless rekords my parents owned from the classic Mo – Town era.

They would take out there L.P’s and give them a spin on Sundays.

As I grew into a teenager I gradually started liking more what radio was playing and current music but because of the foundation my parents laid with there musical likes, I had an appreciation for all types of genre and styles of music… as long as it sounded great to me or resonated with me.

Now current 2017,not many songs have positive or thought provoking messages for the masses, have artist/muscians forgotten the powerful role they have in music?

Do not get me wrong,I love alot of current music, but now and then I break away from the madness and fall in love again listening to the music my parents played when I was just a toddler …

So this one time I scrolled threw my play list and stumbled across this amazing song from the commodores titled “the nightshift”

Here is a little background of the song from Wikipedia

” Nightshift” is a 1985 hit song by the Commodores and the title track from their eleventh album of the same name. The song, written by then lead singer Walter Orange in collaboration with Dennis Lambert and Franne Golde, was a loving tribute to soul/R&B singers Jackie Wilson and Marvin Gaye, who both died in 1984. The single was released on January 31, 1985 in the United States. [1]”

Inspiration struck and I imported the song into FL Studio and chopped around and added more virtual instruments, funked it up with some solenoidbeatz magic and the end result was this.

Music. Why is it important and interesting?

Writing

william-iven-17307.jpg

Music. Everyone loves it. But why? Is it magic? Maybe cause it sounds good? I’m not sure. But scientific study proves that the brain and body react very differently when it comes to music. Did you know that you’re heartbeat beats to the rythymn of the music your listening to? That mean that coordination is very strong when it comes to music. So why is music important and something fun?

Firstly, music creates a very unique reaction in the brain. When, you listen to music both your brains are at work. The left or the logical side is working to decode the beats and create patterns with the rhythym. Meanwhile, the right side or artistic part  is working hard to listen to the melodies and pitches and conclude whether you like it or not. Together both function harmoniously and the brain is balanced.

How Deep Can You GO!!!!

Not everyone understands House Music. It’s a spiritual thing, a body thing, a soul thing

Deephouse music can be very therapeutic at times, taking your troubled mind away into deep inner calmness with rhythmmatic sounds.

So I made a deephouse mix consisting of 25minutes of “music therapy” Inviting you into what I feel when I create the music that I feel most at home to … Deephouse.

All the songs are original productions of my alter ego “Solenoidmusic” The mix starts off with african tribal sounds and gradually gets funkier and groovier and ends off with a very special produced single titled “to be like a chsild” which is an artistic expression aimed at putting the listener in a specific enviroment and to feel certain emotions.I make use of everyday familiar sounds.

Many of the songs in this mix are taken from my first official Deephouse Ep titled ” the very long awaited” which was released in 2017.

My gift to you.Enjoy and share the deephouse mix.

French Montana’s “Unforgettable” Song Review

MusiCommentator

Hello, I’m MusiCommentator, and I am honestly surprised that this song “Unforgettable” became famous.  I am not saying anything against the song (yet); I’m just talking about the fact that it was made by French Montana.  I mean, he is no super popular rapper.  His name is recognizable in the hip hop community, but it usually is not one that strikes joy in the hearts of many.  The fact that this song hit the mainstream, based solely on the fact that it was made by French Montana, baffles me.

I digress, though.  I am basing this on biases I have already known, so maybe there is something different about this song from the others he has made in the past.  After all, he made a track that is considered one of 2017’s best summer hits (I am NOT recognizing Despacito!)  Plus, it has a Swae Lee feature on it, and…

Avici Vs Cascada!!

A little background history on how the track came about.Let us start by introducing these amazing artist who you hear on this bootleg remix.

Tim Bergling, known professionally as Avicii, is a Swedish DJ, remixer, and record producer. Bergling was ranked third on DJ Mag in 2012 and 2013 and has been nominated twice for a Grammy Award, once …

Cascada is a German dance music act founded in 2004 by singer Natalie Horler, DJ Manian and DJ Yanou. They are best known for their hit singles “Everytime We Touch”, “What Hurts the Most” and “Evacuate the Dancefloor”.

These are two EDM giants that give us hits after hits after hits.No that is not a typo, they literally blaze the airwaves with chart topping music.

So inspiration struck again and I wondered how these two giants would sound together, using some of there trademark sounds and vocals.

Added a little bit of solenoidmusic magic, springled some musical spices here and some musical spices over there.

WELL THE END RESULT WAS THIS!
